"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."    - Ephesians 2:10

The desire to serve in the Church is a natural and biblical response to the work Christ is doing in all of us. In fact, it’s the evidence of God’s Spirit transforming us from a self-centered lifestyle to an others-centered lifestyle, imitating the servant-natured God who laid aside everything for you and me. A wide range of Spirit led ministries and workers are required each week here at Calvary Chapel Greer to effectively carry out our Lord’s great commission to make disciples.

After you have been with us at Calvary Chapel Greer for a while and you are certain this is where the Lord would have you become part of His work, then prayerfully consider how He would have you serve through the church.  As you are led to serve the Lord in any of the areas listed, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Calvary Chapel does not have a formal church membership process like some churches do. However, we do believe it is important that those who serve in our church are united in ministry philosophy and doctrine. We encourage everyone new to Calvary Chapel Greer to come and be a regular part of the body of Christ for about 6 months before deciding to engage in ministry.

To help assure like-mindedness we require those serving in church ministries to complete a ministry application. Please note that some ministry positions require a successful background screening. The process is simple and goes like this:

  1. Pray and ask the Lord to show you where He would have you to serve at Calvary Chapel Greer.
  2. Contact the ministry leaders for more specifics on ministry needs and opportunities.
  3. Complete and submit the appropriate Service of Teaching ministry application to the ministry leader.
  4. Meet with the ministry leader to discuss your application.
  5. Attend orientation or training if required.
  6. BEGIN SERVING!
